I love these beautiful country birds, despite the fact they used to startle both me and my dog when out walking through the fields with their sudden take-offs. I've tried to capture their particular mix of fear and nosiness in the painting.

Full description
A set of five A6 cards (148 mm x 105 mm) and white envelopes featuring a handsome male pheasant, painted in gouache, on an off-white background.
The cards are printed on high quality 300 gsm cardstock. The cards are blank inside, ready for you to add your own message on a smooth writing surface.
Your cards will be packed with care in a cellophane sleeve and sent to you in a sturdy board backed mailer.
I love the rich autumnal colours of the male pheasant. We occasionally get them wandering into the garden and looking through the conservatory door!
