Years ago, when my now 23 year old son was little, he bought me a felt needle book as a present at a local fete. It was bright red with a motif on the front of a Grenadier Guard in a black Buzby hat. Over 20 years later, I am still using that needle book! The motif is worn and the felt 'pages' fraying, but it is such a special, useful and practical item.

I had felt left over that was crying out to be used. My natural choice was to make needle books that could be pretty and practical for someone to use.
