Custom Order for NicFrench - This listing now combines both the pincushion as shown and the needlebook which you have requested.
A pretty, felted and embroidered meadow decorates this pincushion. A matching needle case is available separately.
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles. A wide variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects, have been added to represent the meadow. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. The pincushion is edged in blanket stitch using threads to match the areas of the design. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to embroider daisies.
Th back of the pincushion is green kunin felt. The pincushion is gently stuffed with polyester filling.
