I love labradorite - I think it is an under-rated gemstone, but hung simply, as in this pendant, it's beauty is evident.

Full description
Labradorite is a beautiful semi-precious gemstone. It reveals wonderful plays of colour (known as 'schiller'), and in the case of this labradorite pendant, it reveals beautiful blue glints when the light catches it at certain angles.
Although the gemstone is classed as 'black' labradorite, it would be better described as grey, comprising of several shade of grey, with flecks of black.
The photos do not do justice to these effects.
The round pendant is 3 cms in diameter, and I have hung it with silver plated caps, wire and bail, on faux leather plaited cord.
The necklace is 43 cms (17 inches) in length, but has the advantage of having an extension chain, so that the length can be extended if the wearer wishes.
This gemstone makes a truly remarkable pendant.
