Item details

Simple jasper pear-shaped stones suspended on gold-filled ear wires, with vermeil beads.

The earrings hang about 3.5cm below the ear piercing, and the jasper coins are approximately 1.25cm across at their widest, so these are large enough to make a statement, but no so big that they take over!

There is a matching bracelet available as a separate listing.

Jasper is said to be "the supreme nurturer", and is supposed to be sustaining and supportive in times of stress, bringing tranquillity and wholeness. A really beautiful stone in Autumnal colours, set off by the gold beads.

Whenever possible, I use "gold-filled" components in my jewellery (as you see here) rather than "gold-plated" ones as they are of higher quality, and it should last a lifetime.

Vermeuil, otherwise known as silver-gilt, is gold bonded to sterling silver.
