Discover the latest news reports on the oldest stories, once upon a time and time again. The stories featured in the Old News Notebook are printed on front and inner of the cover, and have previously appeared in Enchanted Times Mini and other Enchanted Times promotional material. Please note, the versions of fairy tales reported in these newspapers will differ in tone and perspective from the stories you remember from childhood! Some stories err toward the darker side but are mostly tongue-in-cheek. They are intended for young adult readers and adult readers.
I designed these notebooks so that you can have something to read & somewhere to make notes without having to make extra room in your bag. Ingenious! ;)

The handily pocket-sized, eco-friendly, dual-function newspaper/notebook provides you with:
- 4 old Enchanted Times front page news stories to read in a quiet moment, featuring a Steadfast Tin Soldier, the Pied Piper, Cinderella, & Sleeping Beauty
- a Beauty and the Beast haiku
- Faux small ads from Enchanted Times sponsors Light of my Life Matches, Truth-Be-Told Mirrors and Pied Piper Pipes
- Inner pages with: spaces to fill in your own daily headlines; printed with lines (in two columns) for your notes & stories, plans & to-do lists (etc); and with a bordered rectangle where you can add a quick sketch or staple/glue in a photo, found item, sample from a collection, or piece of ephemera from your day.
Individually sealed in a plain cellophane packet, the Old News Notebook is staple-bound, 36 pages long, & measures approx 10.5 x 15cm (A6/quarter-size). Inner pages are printed on 115gsm (off-white) recycled paper with 250gsm (off-white) recycled card covers. Notebooks have been professionally printed using high quality, vegetable oil-based inks, from a design by E.T.Printworks, including exclusive artwork by staff artist Holly Mitchell, and various vintage fairy tale illustrations by Mabel Lucie Atwell, Kay Nielsen & Arthur Rackham).
