The 1950's are possibly my favourite era for fashion design. I loved the extravagent use of fabrics, the tiny nipped in waists and the full and flowing skirts. Christian Dior and the new style epitomise the sheer glamour of the era and this little shrug is my humble homage to that time.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
This pure merino wool hand knitted shrug was inspired by the glamour of the 1950's. it features a beautiful hand crochet collar that can be worn flat or crank up the glamour by wearing it up. The moss stitch pattern as texture and depth to the shrug, which can be worn in the evening over your favourite dress or dressed down with cut of denims and your favourite vest top. Either way you will be warm as this style does not skimp on the yarn.
This listing is for a small-medium size and should fit anyone between a Size 8-12 comfortably. Custom orders for other sizes are welcome, but the price will vary according to the amount of yarn used.
The sleeves just skim the elbows on this top, if you would like a shrug with longer sleeves this can be done, please allow up to 5 working days for dispatch for any custom orders. Again for a long sleeved shrug please add £15 to the final cost.
The brooch in the pictures is purely for illustration only but can be bought separately.
