After watching a video about the key to ending poverty, so lusciously simple, and resonating so deeply I decided to act.
Drawing on my experience as a freelance screen printer in one of London's remaining print studios we came up with the idea for our "Sew & Tell" kit dolls. Doll champions to help spread the word of the "girl effect" and raise some cash for the cause too. Perfectly attired to give the required kick in the pants the world needs.
The dolls are something of a screen print triumph! Using just 4 colour layers to create a 9 colour spectrum across the 6 dolls. No mean feat. Transparent inks over lay and create further shades, halftones are used to create shades of skin colour...not an inch of fabric wasted...we are hugely proud of their design and concept!
Now we hope to send the dolls all around the world through our shop.

This gorgeous doll comes to life in your hands. Her purple blue and pink elephant detail sari and pink ballet pumps are good enough for any Bollywood starlet. You can follow our video online for an example on how to make your doll to go along with your paper instruction sheet . Buy stuffing as an extra, or thriftily stuff her with lentils, lavender, or old tights! When your done upload your photo to our facebook family album and tell us her name!

Your doll when made will measure 33cm tall and can be washed in the machine at 30 degrees.
