This handspun yarn is a blend of Polworth and Merino wool. The yarn has been hand dyed using eco-friendly dyes and hand carded to give it a unique heathery blend of saffron yellow with hints of red and green peppers. It has been single thick/thin spun using a woolen long draw method to create a yarn that is light and fluffy and has a bit of texture.

Yarns are locally sourced from sheep that graze in the downs of West Sussex. Because the fleece has been cleaned, washed and carded by hand, there may be some odd woody bits still in the yarn. These will fall naturally fall out with use. To care for this yarn, please hand wash in cold water using a gentle soap.
