I aim to make ceramic designs for my handmade pottery bowls that have elements of classic traditional style with a modern touch. I hope that this creates a timeless look that won't date so that they can be used in your home decor and enjoyed for years to come. Sets of two bowls have been really popular as wedding, Christmas and engagement gifts, and can be used as ring holders, as well as candle holders, soap dishes and for home decoration.

Full description
I love the texture and pattern on the surface of these little birds. I pressed vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft, and this has created very intricate pattern which I emphasized by adding cheerful lime green colour glaze to the surface.
The underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.
There are many uses for the little birds. Keep them by your bed to keep earrings safe, use them as a little soap dishes or use them as candle holders at night.
The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep them empty for decoration.
Each measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

Please note, I made a few of these - this listing is for a set of two lime green bowls, and the ones you receive may vary very slightly in the position of the lace, but I promise they'll be very very similar, and equally pretty!
These were intended for decorative use, but they are completely dishwasher safe!
