This is a hand-pressed linocut print entitled 'Sheffield City View No.2' printed in dark purple.
Seventh in my series of Sheffield views. This is a view of the city centre looking from the Pitsmoor / Rutland Road part of town. I stumbled across the scene wondered through the woods up on one of Sheffield's seven hills. I came to a clearing, and there was the view! Quite spectacular, I thought, so I had to try and create a linocut of it.
Dark maroon ink on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
The print image measures H21xW14.8cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
