Part of my new series 'Lotus Blossom' featuring a beautiful hummingbird and paisley design.
Handmade stoneware ceramic impressed plate in soft white.
Approximate size 81/2" in diameter...............22 cm.
A beautiful hand built ceramic plate. The perfect size for use as a side plate or for serving a tasty treat on. Each plate is individually handmade without the use of a wheel or moulds and is texturally stamped with a very old Indian wood print block and a gorgeous deep etched Hummingbird stamp.
After firing it has then been glazed in a soft white semi matt glaze that settles within the grooves and brings out the textures. A really unique and rather stunning piece of modern dinnerware.
Fired to high stoneware temperatures so is strong, durable and entirely suitable for function.
All Cat's Ceramics Dinnerware is made using food safe glazes and are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.
As each plate is handmade and unique, the stamped design position may vary but your plate with be just as beautiful as the one pictured.
