Full description
This pretty blue gemstone necklace features beautiful apatite chips knotted onto macrame cord, to give a long and drapey piece of jewellery.
The apatite is a fabulous and versatile shade of denim blue, while the chips are highly polished with a lovely sparkly quality.
To create the necklace I used two lengths of dark teal blue macrame cord, which is fine, silky and strong. I threaded several apatite chips at a time onto alternate strands, knotting in between each section. The result is a long necklace with a nice drape.
This necklace is very versatile: it can be worn as one length or doubled over, and it also looks good when 'layered' with other similar necklaces, as shown in the last two pictures. The purple necklace pictured is available to buy separately in my shop.
The necklace fastens with a black plated lobster clasp. The chips vary in size between approximately 1/16th and 1/8th of an inch (2mm to 5mm).
The necklace worn as one strand measures 44 inches (111 cm).
Your necklace will be sent to you by first class Royal Mail post, presented in a gift box and securely packaged.
