Theses earring are a part of a continued series of work that began with the exploration into the form of a poppy seed head. I was particularly attracted to the idea of recreating the rattle of the seeds and combining the organic form with my increased interest in metal and metallics.

Full description
These dangle earrings are made from verdigris coloured polymer clay, representing poppy seed heads they rattle gentle when shaken. The finish is a distressed silver leaf, and varnish.
The ear hooks are silver plated and where acquired form a reputable source.
They measure just under 2" / 5cm from the top of the earring hook.
These, as with all of my earrings, have never been worn.
I would not recommend wearing these to shower / bath / swim. They are hollow and may take on water.
