I love the summer months and colours that go with that time of year. I enjoyed working on this range of cards as you can’t feel warmed when looking at them. I really like the watercolour images and having them to decoupage was great as it certainly brings a sense of depth and movement to the cards.

Full description
This 8 x 8 size tent fold Anniversary card is definitely a summer inspired celebration. The colours are the colours of flowers that you will see in many British gardens. I started by matting gold pearlised card onto the base card, I then layered floral patterned paper on top. I placed a piece of pastel yellow card in between the paper to break up the design and to create movement and bring all the colours together. I dry embossed a floral design onto another piece of yellow card and placed a circular butterfly topper, which I feel adds to the movement of the whole card and ties into the main image. I added a decoupaged image of a couple dressed in 40/50’s style clothing in a garden with butterflies all around them. I added pastel yellow and pink fabric flowers to the card and the sentiment “with lots of love” at the top of the card. This card does have an insert inside with the sentiment “May your anniversary be a beautiful celebration of the love and life that you share. Congratulations”. The colours around the sentiment match the colours on the front of the card.
This card will of course be suitable to any couple who will be celebrating their anniversary in the summer months. All single cards on my page are free of all postage and packaging costs and just a small charge if purchased with something else.
