Combining vintage fabric and upcycled leather, Delilah is a real beauty, and what’s more, she’s twice the fun with two bags in one! Wear her folded as a landscape showcase of leather and fabric contrast, or wear her unfolded for a generous sized portrait tote bag – either way, she makes a great vintage statement. Delilah has thick wooden handles, an invisible magnet fastening and an internal zip pocket. Her fold-under flap fastens securely with heavy weight snap poppers. Each Esther is fully lined in a contrasting canvas.

Dimensions: approximately 15 “ tall when unfolded, 8 1/2” tall when folded (excluding handles) and 13” wide

Delilah was inspired by a simple 60s tapestry tote bag spotted at the bottom of a charity shop basket. I'd been working on ideas for styles that would combine leather and fabric, and the simplicity of the oblong shape was just right. The fold-under came about when fiddling with the prototype while "on-hold" - I can't remember what the phone call was about, but I can remember the odd "eureka" style noise I made when Delilah The FoldUnder appeared before my eyes!

Delilah ' purple flowers' features the softest upcycled black vintage leather (a damaged coat) and striking vintage fabric (once a St Michael's bedspread) with a large scale floral design in deep shades of purple with mauve and blue – fabulous!
