Copper pottery butterfly yarn bowl. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
The flutter of butterfly wings makes this yarn bowl a sweet year round reminder of summertime as you knit. Through it's wings you can pull through your yarn, its an ideal bowl for double knit or light summery cottons.
Hand thrown on my potters wheel this ceramic yarn bowl has been decorated in the now discontinued copper penny outside and white inside. It features a gently bulbed shape and a hole for your yarn to hook into when your knitting. Using a yarn bowl prevents your balls of yarn from rolling around on the floor away from pets or little wandering hands.
Unfortunately as a second this piece does have some sand in the bottom which has a gritty texture to the touch.
It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your table and is 6.2 inches (16 cm) in diameter and 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) in height.
