Full description

This listing is for a KNITTING PATTERN in PDF format and NOT the actual cosy.

I came up with this design during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The egg cosy is hat shaped and fits a medium sized egg; add a ribbon to tie under his chin and it would also make adorable headgear for your favourite teddy! I used the traditional colours of red, white and blue; however other colour combinations could be used, I’ll leave it to your imagination.

Sizes:

Using DK/8ply yarn - 6.5cm/2.5in high, 20cm/8in circumference (at bottom edge)

The cosy is knit flat using two needles.

The knitting pattern is comprehensive with row by row instructions and photos to help you!

There are no postage costs - the pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 48 hours of payment being received (usually a lot sooner), to the email address registered with Folksy unless you let me know otherwise. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this pdf file, if you do not have this programme it is free to download from www.adobe.com

I endeavour to type up the patterns correctly, however, should you spot an error please let me know!
