Full description
Inspired by a Somerset folk song 'The Sprig of Thyme' taken from the collection 'Songs of Somerset' by Cecil Sharp.
Made from a thin slab of porcelain clay, once rolled out to the desired thickness, the sprigs of thyme are then pressed into the clay. Once bisque fired a ceramic stain is used to capture the detail of the thyme plant, the vase is then dipped into a transparent glaze and then high fired.
Please note: the designs on each vase will vary due to each sprig being different.
Care & Uses:- Due to the shape of the vase it is handwash only.
Each purchase from 'The Sprig of Thyme' Collection will come with a scroll of the poem tied with a green satin ribbon.
Please see other items in 'The Sprig of Thyme' Collection.
