I had some strips of Harris tweed in my materials and the size and shape immediately suggested bookmarks. I have always liked the effect of mixing tweed (which is traditionally used in more masculine things such as suits) with the rather feminine floral patterns associated with companies such as Sanderson and Laura Ashley. I think the fusion works, and I hope you do too.

This reversible bookmark is a fusion of genuine Harris Teed and Vintage Sanderson cotton - 'Acorn' All of the materials mentioned were made in the UK.
