Full description

This nostalgic handmade wooden flowerpress is made using reclaimed walnut ply and measures 134x134x103mm.

A victorian technique, 'flower pressing' is a wonderful, fulfilling hobby. Ideal for amateur botanists or naturalists. Makes an ideal gift for someone special. And a potential future family heirloom!

For best results sandwich flowers between two sheets of blotting paper or other absorbent paper. This will soak up excess moisture, protecting the card and can be discarded after a few goes.

Pressed flowers and leaves can be used to make beautiful cards and collages, or mounted on antique paper and framed as interesting home decor. Flowers and leaves can also be used for decoupage.
