Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

I already paint single letters with floral and heraldic designs and am often asked to paint double initials for Wedding and Anniversary gifts.
Flowers have many special significances and can paint all kinds - for example, those carried in the bouquet on the day or just someone's favourite blooms.

Full description
ANY TWO initial letters handpainted in purple with Scots thistles on high quality watercolour paper within a double mount with colour slip.
The date of the Wedding or Anniversary may be written in purple (as shown) below the letters and thistles, if requested when ordering.
CUSTOM IDEA - Tell me the two letters you'd like painted together and the Wedding or Anniversary date if you would like this written below them.
Thistles are universally associated with Scotland and things Scottish, and they represent strenght and triumph over adversity.
Finished letters will be 36 x 78mm approx on watercolour paper of outer size 125 x 175mm or 5 x 7" including the double mount with colour slip.
Orders will be sent within 3-5 days of being paid for in full and be posted by First Class to anywhere within the UK and by Airmail to everywhere else. Your item will be packed inside several layers of board to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
