I mix traditional and contemporary design ideas within my ceramics to create items with a classic feel and a modern twist. I hope that this will make my pottery stand the test of time so that the objects I make can be used and enjoyed year after year. I fire to stoneware temperature so that all my objects are durable, even though they might look delicate and fragile. They're really popular as wedding gifts, as well as ring holder bowls for weddings and engagements.

Full description
These little bowls are great at holding wedding rings to keep them safe, and make sweet wedding or engagement gifts.
I pressed vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft to create intricate pattern and texture in the surface of this little bird, and added subtle Wedgwood blue glaze to the surface.
The underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.
There are many uses for the little blue bird. Keep it by your bed to keep earrings safe, use it as a little soap dish or put a little candle in it at night.
The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep it empty for decoration.
It measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

Although I have made a couple of these, the one you will receive is unique, and is the one pictured in the main image.
