Perfect for baking Camembert, Brie, Camembert au Calvados to name just a few! Try studding a Camembert with garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs and adding a splash of wine. Bake at 220 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes. Serve warm with fresh bread.
This dish would also make a good pie/flan dish or vegetable server.
I threw this oven-to-table dish on my pottery wheel using strong white stoneware clay and finished it in my favourite dark aquamarine blue reactive glaze.
Dimensions--4cm high and 18.5cm across.
With this size of dish you could surround the cheese with fruit ( baked pears are my favourite! ) or vegetables. Or it will take the larger size of round cheese.
Foodsafe glazes....oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.
The swedish butter knife is included....
