Inspired by both the wonderful poem and an illustration on a Christmas card, I received as a teenager many years ago, of a mouse asleep within the pages of a book.

Full description
Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
An adorable little mouse is nestled within the pages of a book.
The outer layer of the card is cream with a printed border and greeting in tartan colours. The inside of the card is lined with white quality paper and contains a pop-up with a cute mouse asleep within the pages of a book.
The mouse is available in 9 various shades of brown and grey. Please state at the time of ordering if you have a colour preference.
The card is A6 in size (15 cm by 10.5 cm) when closed and is supplied with a white diamond flap envelope and protected in a cellophane pocket.
25 pence from the sale of this card will be donated to Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity (registration number 299679), of which I am a registered fundraiser.
Please note:
This card is not intended for use as a toy and adult supervision is recommended if children wish to 'play' with it.
