Browsing through the pages of a natural history book, I was inspired to create a fish themed pop up card.
I used the book to assist me with the fishy features, though the drawing is my entirely my own work.

Full description
This is a simple action pop-up card. As you open and shut the card, the mouth of the fish opens and closes.
The card is A6 in size (10.5 cm by 15 cm) when closed and will be supplied with a white diamond flap envelope and protected in a cellophane pocket. The outer card layer is pastel blue with the border and greeting printed in shades of slate blue. Small dots of silver holographic glitter have been applied by hand to the border.
The fish is printed onto smooth white quality paper and is embellished by hand with silver holographic glitter.
I drew the fish outline by hand and then scanned it into my computer where I applied the colour and detail.
This card is suitable for both adults and children and is particularly useful for men who enjoy a spot of angling.
25 pence from the sale of this card will be donated to Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity (registration number 299679), of which I am a registered fundraiser.
Please note:
This card is not intended for use as a toy and adult supervision is recommended if children wish to 'play' with it.
