Revived for the modern man, here is a handmade mug with a moustache guard.
Back in the 19th century, keeping one's facial hair in tip top condition was of the utmost importance. Drinking a cup of coffee, especially a foamy one, could prove very damaging!
I threw this mug on my pottery wheel using strong white stoneware clay and finished it in my favourite dark aquamarine blue reactive glaze.
11cm tall and 9cm across the rim.
Weight 400gms.....holds 350mls.
Foodsafe glazes....dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
