I am a strong believer in recycling, reusing & repurposing & like to think out of the box to see how things, that have been deemed to have no further use, can be given a new lease of life.
These notebooks are one such example; they are made from beermats that were surplus to requirements & which have now been rescued before they went to landfill. They make great guy gifts!
Although the mats used to create your notepad are recycled they have not been used in a pub, so they are not stained with beer/water damaged. As they are pocket sized they are perfect as a telephone or desk notepad & they have proved popular with grooms/best men at weddings as a fun gift for them to write their speech in & deliver it from on the big day! Much more aesthetically pleasing and fun than bits of card that get muddled up, stuck together or lost!
These beer mats feature the classic Peroni logo on both sides & a plain dark blue inner.

Full description
A simple 3.5” square notebook made from 2 new & unused genuine Peroni Italian beer mats.
The front and back covers are made from 2 of the same design of beer mat & are filled with approximately 125 sheets (250 writing pages) of hand cut, hand punched, recycled plain paper; no need to scribble numbers down on the back of an old stained beer mat anymore!
Each notepad, including covers, is just over 0.50” thick (around 1.5cm) & has been wire bound so that you can fold the cover right back 360 degrees or simply lie it open at 180 degrees flat.
Please note that these notepads are made from original beer mats, which are recycled & as such may show small signs of wear, although this does not detract from the attractiveness of the piece. There may be wear around the holes punched in them – these are stress marks caused to the soft pulp beer mat when the pressure is applied as it is punched and are to be expected.
You will receive ONE notepad representative of the ones shown in the photos. The notebook you will receive will be bound with red wire. If you require a different quantity (5 or more), please contact me.
