I just love pocket watches. They make great statement jewellery, but can look a little bland. This inspired me to create some 3d art by adorning pocket watches with unique mix of embellishments. I tend to use Butterflies, Dragonflies, and other winged creatures.

Winter Butterfly: Long pocket watch necklace
I am so pleased with how this piece this turned out. I hope someone agrees.
Utterly unique. As the components are all coloured polished and finished by hand it would be virtually impossible to duplicate.
I took a large filigree fronted pocket watch and added a 3 dimensional Butterfly, a wee ladybird, and a pretty leaf. I finished it with a pretty blue grey chrysanthemum .
Chain is 30 inches with a long extender.
Pocket watch is 2 inches diameter
Height including fob is 2.75 inches
Made in a smoke free home by me.
