Contemporary tea light lantern/holder
Two part spherical with star pattern. The round star part and base are separate so it is easy to light the candle on the base part and then just place the round part safely on top so no burnt fingers!
Handmade in fine stoneware clay glazed with a white matt glaze with hints of blue glaze painted inside the stars
Approximately 12 cm circle with 9 cm diameter base
Each one made by myself using a 'slabbing' technique which I then stamp and cut out the shapes in the pattern I feel works best. After a little tidy up and a while for drying they are painted with multiple coats of glaze and then fired to almost 1300 degrees so nice and strong
Looks lovely in a bedroom, on the coffee table, in the dining room, in the garden, anywhere really. Wherever you'd want a candle this lantern makes a beautiful, practical and elegant addition to any room and an stunning and unusual gift
Comes with clear little rubber stoppers attached to base to prevent any scratching or slipping on surfaces.
Lanterns have been fired to stoneware temperatures so are frost-proof and can be kept outside all year round
Comes with one complimentary tea light
