Full description
Embroidered in fabrics and tapestry wools, on a wool-blend, knitted base, this pretty brooch has a three dimensional quality due to the relief effect of the stitches used.
The base of this brooch has been knitted, in moss stitch, using a beautiful wool blend yarn in rich shades of purple, peacock blue, emerald and cerise. The roses have been embroidered, in a mixture of tapestry wools and fabric strips, using ribbon embroidery techniques.
The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
