These two bird shaped ceramic bowls belong together... They have heart shaped feathers that make their little wings. Keep them by the sink or bed and they will lovingly look after your rings and little things. Place little tealight candles in them to light things up at night, or use them as little guest soap dishes.
Each little love bird is unique. Their features were individually stamped in stoneware pottery, and their shapes were cut by hand, by me. They are made from strong textured white clay and fired to stoneware temperature, so they are strong, despite their delicate forms. Their pretty features are emphasized by the gorgeous glossy deep teal glaze.
Each measures approx 3.5 x 3.5 x height 1 inches
(9 x 9 x 2.5cm)

Please note, this item is intended for decorative use. However, these birds are really tough, and can be cleaned in a dishwasher if you wish.
I made a few of these; please note that they may vary very slightly from the ones pictured, but any difference is tiny!

I wanted these ceramic bowls to feel modern, but with a nostalgic familiar feel at the same time. They've been really popular as wedding and engagement gifts, because they're a sweet place to keep your rings safe at night, and I've been really touched that some people have used these on their wedding days to carry their wedding rings down the aisle!
When people tell me that they've bought these as gifts, it is always to show their love for someone, be it a good friend, sister, mum or a special couple. I couldn't have envisaged, when I first designed them, just how sweet their role in the lives they decorate would be.
