Full description
A wildflower meadow richly populated with harebells, with grasses and ragwort in the background.
The more distant flowers, and the buds, are embroidered using embroidery thread. The flowers in the foreground are embroidered in silk ribbon.
The background is hand felted from merino, mohair and silk fibres in shades of green, blue and gold. The brooch is stiffened by plastic cut from recycled bottle. Couched wool, in shades of green and yellow, frames the design. The back of the brooch is neatened with felt. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
