Full description
This beautiful little raku bowl has been hand-thrown from stoneware clay and glazed using a white crackle glaze on the outside rim and a green crackle glaze inside to create a 'pool'. The black band around the base of the pot has been left unglazed to create a contrast where the clay itself becomes smoked by the firing process.
It's a small bowl measuring just 6.5cm x 4.5cm and bears my own pottery seal near the base. The crackle glazes used in Raku pots means they are porous and decorative only. It also means each pot is totally unique and perfect as a gift or beautiful keepsake for someone special.
