Full description
A visualisation of Henry IV Part One in a single sheet. The play's themes of rebellion and legitimacy are contrasted to the unlikely friendship of Henry IV's prodigal son, Prince Hal, with the knavish Falstaff, one of Shakespeare's most loved characters, a lively witty character, originally modelled on Sir John Oldcastle, he is in some ways a self-mocking portrait of Shakespeare himself - 'fall staff' 'shake spear'.
This poster gives an overview of the whole play - great for getting the gist of the work, whether adult or child!
Semi-gloss enhances colours with a subtle shine. Paper Weight: 170 gsm (65 lb). FSC-certified or equivalent for sustainability.
