Full description
Two magnificent stags stand together amongst an enchanted woodland, surrounded by soft, atmospheric colours and hints of wild foliage.
There is something wonderfully peaceful about these two animals - powerful, watchful and completely at home in their surroundings. Their impressive antlers rise into the dreamy woodland like branches of ancient trees, while layers of teal, turquoise, blue, lilac and soft rose create a magical, almost otherworldly atmosphere.
I wanted this painting to capture that feeling of encountering wildlife deep in the woods, when everything suddenly becomes quiet and you feel as though you have stepped into another world.
Original mixed-media artwork, created on hand-stretched canvas using several layers of:
- Spray paint
- Acrylic paint
- Acrylic pen
- Oil paint
The painting has been finished with protective varnish. The canvas sides are painted so it can be displayed without a frame, and D-rings have been fitted to the back ready for hanging.
Canvas size: 20 inch x 28 inch
Frame: Not included
Artwork: Original and one of a kind
A beautiful statement piece for a wildlife lover, nature-inspired home, woodland-themed room or anyone drawn to atmospheric and mystical animal art.
