This is such a lovely traditional craft activity. Having seen how popular it was in my museum “Victorian” themed drop in workshops, I have decided to make some kits for making the little dolls at home, with some of my stash of pretty silky and lace fabrics and sparkly bits.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A kit to make your own set of 3 sweet peg doll fairies for seasonal décor or very gentle play.
The kit contains good basics for confident creating; you can make the figures as seen here -but there is lots of scope with extra fabric, hair colours and pretty bits, for individual creativity, and for different skill levels.
It includes detailed photo instructions; there is no need to sew (sewing was not used to produce the dolls as shown here) but a little stitching can be done if you would like to. (Please let me know when purchasing if you would like a needle and some thread supplied).
The kit is a craft activity for older children (5 plus- or maybe a little younger with maybe some help) depending on skill levels. I have made peg dolls like this at events with a large number of children (and their parents always want to have a go too - age is no barrier to having some creative fun).
Great for families and parties- and for adults on their own too - festive seasonal decorations for a fun creative get together.
Contents:
3 wooden clothes pegs, 3 neutral pipe cleaners plus 1 gold,1 silver, 15 "dress" circles of fabrics and net, ribbon, lace, gold thread and various hair colours and textures (some shown in the photos).
You will need a glue stick-and, only if you may like to use them, sewing needle and thread (which I can supply) . Scissors will only be needed to trim ends-the fabric is pre-cut.
