As I'm a new seller to Folksy please bear with me over the next few weeks whilst I work behind the scenes setting up my shop.
My textile and soft sculpture pieces take time to create therefore I will add in new stock as it becomes available.
All my pieces of work are one of a kind fabric art or soft sculpture pieces.

I only make a few of this orbs each year for the autumn and winter months.
Each one is individual and unique and my inspiration for each piece is the fabric I use. I also like to recycle and re use materials as much as possible which is why I use even the selvedges and smaller pieces of fabrics which might possibly have been discarded due to their size.
I use a mix of new, vintage and reclaimed fabric.
I like to add a rustic feel to my orbs by using fabrics such as hessian and fabric selvedges.
I source the woodland stems myself from where I live in the South Lakes.

Beautiful textile home decor rustic orb for the autumn and winter months.
Six segments of alternating burgundy velvet fabric and a linen flower/leaf print.
Hessian and wool selvedges have been used to finish the top and bottom of the orb.
Embroidery thread separates each individual segment.
The stem has been sourced from Cumbria and is a piece of fallen woodland which I've covered and hand sewn in hessian.
The natural coloured ribbon is made from webbed hessian and finishes off this gorgeous home decor piece.
Size is 6.5 inches wide by 7 inches including stem (approximate size).
There are three little acorns which I've hand created which have real acorn caps. These are detachable so can be used either on top of the orb or by it's side.
This is a textile art piece for decorative purposes only.
Styling suggestions place on a rustic wooden slice place hessian at the base and surround it with either autumn acorns and pine cones or at christmas with holly or winter greenery.
I have used a mix of machine and hand sewing.
Polyester filling has been used to add structural shape.
Colours, burgundy, beige, brown.
This is an original one of a kind rustic textile art piece.
Please note this piece is not intended for children or pets.
Due to the nature of the fabrics used it should be kept away from heat sources, fire, flames and candles. Please keep out of direct sunlight as this could cause the fabric to colour fade over time.
