A very pretty original one off textile brooch by Johnny Biscuit Design which has been hand created with a thoughtful layering process of fabrics made from wool and wool felt. With a combination of machine and hand sewing the 6 layers of fabric combinations and colours really do make this piece stand out from the crowd. The brooch is approximately 4 inches in width (10.5cm) and has a little silver coloured metal pin hand stitched onto the back to secure in place on a coat, jacket or it could even be pinned to a fabric bag. The colours within the brooch are beautiful plums, purples, black, teal, grey and fuchsia. I've added a frayed black wool selvedge to the outer edges of the brooch and left the fabric edges unfinished on other layers so that it creates texture and interest. UK selling only thank you.
