I am gradually increasing my stock of trinket dishes made from scallop shells but find it difficult to decide which design to do next!
This one has been decoupaged using a pretty tropical floral and bird napkin. The edge and back of the shell have been painted with a gold acrylic paint and the front has been coated with a glossy sealer/lacquer.
The shell measures approximately 14cm wide by 13cm high.
Ideal for your bedside or dressing table for your rings, earrings or other bits and bobs or it could be used as just a decorative piece in your room if wished.
