Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand.
I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom.

I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, and some of my polyester fabrics as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.

Full description
This retro looking floral design fabric would make a lovely 60s style shift dress with approximately 244cm length of fabric, 112 cm wide, including the selvage.
There is a 5cmx6cm piece missing from one corner (as seen on the photographs) as I cut it to do a burn test and discovered that this is not cotton, but more likely to be polycotton fabric.
It is lightweight and has a crisp cotton feel to it. It was bought new off the bolt, washed and stored in my cupboard, more recently it was stored in a plastic zip wallet with a pattern that I changed my mind about making.
This really is a pretty fabric design and has a mid-century look about it, especially the large orange flowers with the yellow and pink middles.
