When you want to protect the sweetest story, this book cover could be the one for you or maybe you want to prettify a dismal notebook? This cover will fit a book sized 21cm x 13cm x 3.5cm. A great gift for a student, book lover or for that someone special who loves bees! Lewis and Irene oeko-tex 100% cotton fabric forms the front and pockets of this protective cover with its design of bees and honey. It has a plain white polycotton backing and pink upcycled polyester ribbons that tie to keep your pages together. The front has a machine embroidered saying 'The Sweetest Story' on a pure wool label. A cotton 'handmade' label has been glued using non-toxic fabric glue onto the inside back pocket. Check your size carefully before ordering. There is a paper label with fabric details and with the price visible, if you are gifting this, you may want to cut the price out. I have inserted a piece of patterned card to help the cover keep it's shape. This can be cut into strips and used as bookmarks or kept as is for an extra layer of protection. This is re-usable and washable on 30degrees or hand wash, can be ironed.

Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand. I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom. I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, and some of my polyester fabrics as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.

2 lovely little bags, well made using beautiful retro designs. It's great too that both bags feature a design on each side. Many makers seem to only put a design on one side on a bag, cushion etc. and leave the other side plain, which I think is a shame. I would happily pay more for 2-sided design, always!
