Blodeuwedd is a character from the Mabinogion her name translates as flower face. She was said to have been created by two magicians for their nephew. Blodeuwedd rebelled and as a punishment was turned into an owl. I am interested in the stories of strong independent women. They feature often in my work.

This art work was created by printing a drawing onto fabric and then embroidery added. It is 23cm x 23cm. It is not framed but comes ready to hang with loops attached.
