Safety information
This snood is handmade from natural wool using traditional nalebinding techniques. Wool may cause irritation for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Not suitable for young children without supervision, as the snood may pose a risk if pulled tightly around the neck. Keep away from open flames, as wool is a natural fibre and may scorch or burn. Handmade items may vary slightly in size and finish.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Welcome to Bear & Boar snoods, and my range of hand crafted Hedgerow snoods.
This Hawthorn Hedgerow Snood is made from a beautifully soft, chunky, Chubbs merino wool; soft fibres that give real warmth without weight and allowing the skin to breathe.
Each snood is made using the ancient craft of nalebinding (older than both knitting and crochet), where loops are worked and joined by hand using a single needle. The result is a dense, durable fabric that holds its shape, keeps the heat in, and stands up to years of wear.
Each snood is hand made to order so please allow a maximum of 4 weeks for the item to be made and dispatched, although I will do my best to get the item out much sooner.
Each snood is sent out in a recycled box and packaged in fully recycled materials
Details:
- Chunky merino yarn, soft, warm and breathable

Built the old way, for everyday use.
Sizing Guide:
