Full description
An original Pastel drawing of a fine Cockerel. This is a vibrant drawing of a regal Rooster, with fiery, warm colours. It is a mixture of pastel sticks and pastel pencils. I love all mediums, because you can achieve so many effects, and with pastels, rich, buildable tones are extremely satisfying. I decided to go with a blye-grey mount because I felt it really complemented the drawing. The size of the mounted artwork is 29cm x 40cm.
