Created with Leaves...Inspired by Nature - Prints of original leaf collages

I love gardening and it is from my jungle of a garden that all my little characters originate. Flowers are beautiful, but I actually love foliage and lots of the plants in my garden are chosen for their foliage rather than their flowers. One day, I had the notion to try and create something from the vibrant and varied leaves in my garden, and the rest is history!

Each of my pictures begins life as an original collage of leaves, grasses and petals from my garden. The variety of colours and textures has led to quite a lot of different pictures...so many, in fact, that my husband encouraged me to put some of them into a children's book...it is called 'The Sprigglys' and is a little, rhyming book, following ten of my little SprigArt characters as they head off on an adventure with The Bumblebee Princess!
