Full description
Soft-soldered (using stained glass method) suncatcher of Islay -- one of the Scottish islands. I used blue sea glass pieces that I collected here on Islay and soldered them together in the shape of the island. The solder I used is lead-free (tin and copper alloy). The suncatcher has been patinated and treated with sewing machine oil, it is hung on a short stainless steel jump ring chain.
Size: 7 cm L, 5 cm W (at its widest point)/2.75 inch L, 1.96 inch (at its widest point)
