Full description
I recently visited Forde Abbey and gardens and my daughter took some lovely photographs of a Tree creeper preening itself on the side of a tree.
That encounter inspired this painting.
Measuring: 8x5x1 inches ( 20x12x2.5 cms)
I have tried to keep all the natural features of the wood including the bark as I really think it adds to the overall rustic look of this piece.
As this painting is 1 inch thick it can be free standing on a shelf but also has a brass hook on the back to allow for hanging.
These pieces of wood are reclaimed so may be irregular in shape.
If you're looking to add a piece of nature to your home or are a bird lover this piece would be perfect for you.
