Full description
This elegant handcrafted stained glass White Stork plant stake is inspired by the beautiful storks of the Knepp Estate in West Sussex, where these magnificent birds have been reintroduced to the UK.
Traditionally, storks are considered harbingers of hope, joy, and rebirth, making this piece a meaningful gift or a thoughtful addition to any home, that will stand the test of time. The distinctive contrasting plumage is represented by a white glass body, textured wings and smoky black highlights and of course the striking orange beak.
Tuck it in among your houseplants and it sits just as a white stork would in the treetops, adding a quiet, graceful charm to a windowsill or plant display.
The glass stork is around 13cm long and the total length of the plant stake is approximately 35cm. Each piece is individually handcrafted using the traditional copper foil method. I make each piece to order and as such it will be unique and may have subtle variations that add character and authenticity - just like the nature it is reflecting.
Please allow 3-5 days for me to handcraft your piece. Items are then dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you need your order sooner, just drop me a message, I'm more than happy to prioritise rush orders where possible.
