My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so.

Full description
This is an original painting entitled 'Donkey Painting No.5'.
As a parallel to my print work I decided to create a series of donkey paintings. These are based on my 'donkey world', featured on many prints and using ideas and a colour scheme similar to some of these and also to the lions/lionesses I painted recently as part of the Pride Of Yorkshire sculpture trail.
Like all of my donkey adventure prints I decided to try and create a secret abstracted world that only donkeys know about, full of intriguing and slightly confusing features for them to explore (plus a few helping hands!).
Blue, pink, yellow, orange, purple, white, green and grey acrylic and emulsion paints on 8mm board, in a natural pine box frame (fixings and cord attached), and varnished using a matt varnish. It is also titled and signed on the back.
The painting measures H30xW30cm.
The frame measures H32xW32cmxD3.5cm.
Painted by myself in my studio in Sheffield, UK.
It will be posted securely and safely using cardboard and bubble wrap.
